Hi Jill, I recently purchased the Welsh Corgi for a friend of mine who had just recently lost her beloved dog. I wanted you to know how much she appreciated your craftsmanship and if I could briefly share this story with you. It is truly a Christmas Story to be told.

If you haven’t figured it out~ I’m a true animal lover! That being said…; My friend, who lost her dog Ernie, also has a second Corgi named Lexie. Well, Christmas morning as we were sitting in her living room opening gifts, Lexie was sitting with my friend’s daughter on the couch across the room from my friend. When my friend unwrapped your creation of the corgi; and she lifted it up for all to see, Lexie jumped off the couch waddled her way through the various paper and boxes on the floor went across the room to “her mother” who was holding the plaque, starred at it and then affectionately licked the plaques nose. I kid you not and there were 7 of us there to witness this! We all had tears in our eyes as she looked and looked, kissed it and then walked away. She thought it was her pal Ernie. Anyway, I think I won the best gift award this year and I wanted to share it with you and thank you once again. –Mary - Dysart,Iowa

Jill, You were great to work with and the whole process went very smoothly. I sent the intarsia of Maggie and Owen to my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew for Christmas. I had you do two of my very very dearest animals I dearly loved and still miss....My dog Sugar was 16 a mutt but very smart...My cat Peachy was a stray but later found out she was a Ragdoll...I got her at 6 weeks old and had her until she reached 19...I didn't want her to go but had to tell her it was Ok...You did a VERY VERY good job with both of them... and because of the good work you do I can be reminded all the time I see your talent...Thank so much, Linda --Pawz for Treats

My Phatman is 9 1/2 yrs. young and is my best friend. My grand-dog and I have been through alot together, and I can't imagine me without him. Hello Jill, I received all three in good condition. The extra padding helped a lot. All were ok and all Look very nice. Its just like you say on your website, You can reproduce a picture of a pet in wood. Exactly! All I hear from people who see them is "very Talented" and "Amazing how someone can do that!" I'm glad you were the one I finally went with. I was wrong that all dogs of a certain breed look alike. You brought out Cindys actual expression and looks by using the very small details. We lost Teka 3 years ago but with your talent we can look at her and feel she is always with us. Hi Jill, I purchased the heads of Casey, Cleo, and Ramses for my husband for Christmas. When he opened the package, the first image he saw was Casey (a mixed breed with no likeness available in stores). So, immediately he knew that it was custom work and it brought him to tears. We have them in our den and they are a topic of conversation with everyone who sees them. This has not only immortalized our favorite pets, but has become something we will enjoy forever. WOW, is the word that best describes your work. The intarsia of our dogs Ruffles and Winston are fantastic. I hope you use them as samples.
